Habitat

Bush and tree-covered dry Areas, diurnal

Size

Large males in the wild up to 60 cm. Offspring are clearly smaller - as a rule they reach only 40-45 cm GL.

Temperature

Air temperatures between 25-32°C. Lowering to room temperature at night. Under radiant heaters Temperatures up to 50°C (measured on stone).

Air humidity

30-40% slightly higher at night, whereby 60% should not be exceeded.

Terrarium size

Minimum requirement 5x4x3 (LxWxH) of the KRL for a pair. As a rule, for example, a FurniTarrium with the Base area 120×60 for 2-3 adult animals fits well.

Lining

Special ready-made food, e.g. Lucky Reptile Bearded Dragon Mix, live insects or alternatively Canned insects such as the Lucky Reptile Herp Diner canned series. Vegetarian food such as special Food plants from the pet shop, meadow herbs such as dandelion, ribwort plantain, clover, etc. but also vegetables such as carrots and peppers. Young animals are predominantly insectivorous while adults mainly eat plants. Please do not feed vegetables containing oxalic acid such as tomatoes and spinach! Fruit only in VERY small quantities Quantities as a tidbit.
